20 years ago, on 11th February 2001 the Agile ‘Software Development’ Manifesto has been born - at The Lodge at Snowbird ski resort in the Wasatch mountains of Utah.
Exactly today - 20 years ago, on 11th February 2001 - at The Lodge at Snowbird ski resort in the Wasatch mountains of Utah, seventeen people met to talk, ski, relax, and try to find common ground. What emerged was the Agile ‘Software Development’ Manifesto. Representatives from extreme Programming, SCRUM, DSDM, Adaptive Software Development, Crystal, Feature-Driven Development, Pragmatic Programming, and others sympathetic to the need for an alternative to documentation driven, heavyweight software development processes convened.
This day was the birthday of the "AGILE" projects and methodologies we can see in many organisations today.
Although this is 20 years ago, #Agile is not implemented in many organizations and the "very old world" is still fighting against the "agile world".
Time to change thinking - radically. Companiesd companies need agile management systems to strive and grow the new world of working.
