FORRS expands Supervisory Board with two experienced financial markets, energy and technology expert

Kees Brooimans and Maik Neubauer appointed to the extended Supervisory Board

Heidelberg, 17 August 2021 - FORRS Partners GmbH, based in Heidelberg and Munich, has appointed financial market, energy, and technology experts Kees Brooimans and Maik Neubauer to its Supervisory Board with effect from 1 August 2021.

With the two well-known market experts, the strategy and management consultancy specializing in the financial industry and the energy sector is strengthening its European growth strategy in complex digitalization projects in these sectors.

The consultancy primarily supports its clients in business-critical projects at the complex interfaces between new regulatory requirements, business model adaptations and the digitalization of new structures.


With Kees Brooimans, based in the Netherlands, one of the most experienced European experts for market data platforms, license and cost management as well as banking systems, FORRS is broadening its expertise in the area of financial service providers and asset management. For over 30 years, Kees Brooimans built up and managed the globally active Screen Group as an expert company for market data and license management.

With Maik Neubauer, based in Hamburg, FORRS appoints an international technology and regulatory expert in the energy segment to the supervisory and strategy board. Among other executive roles, Neubauer was a board member of the European Energy Exchange EEX, built up Shell Retail Energy and acted most recently, as Chief Commercial Officer at TSCNET Services, where he was responsible for the strategic development of the largest Regional Security Coordinators (RSC) for the European power transmission grid. He is considered an expert in transformation, regulatory and digitalization projects in the field of critical infrastructures.
